I only had six pieces of furniture to move but nearly every one of them was a challenge. Two pieces from the 1800’s (one of which was heart grain pine(SUPER HEAVY) 10 1/2 feet long. A gun safe bolted to the ground. (HEAVY) . A 3′ x 5′ x 3″ THICK Fossilized Limestone coffee table with Oak base (HEAVY), a custom made settee (OAK) (Expensive), and a custom made 9′ long wardrobe (5 bulky pieces). Two doors had to be taken off, everything had to be blanket wrapped, bolts had to be removed anchoring safe to floor, well you get the idea. And I have the drive way from HELL.
How they got a 20′ long truck around my too narrow circular drive and avoided VERY tricky trees…lots and lots and lots of trees amazes me. I said it couldn’t be done but they did it.
And all this for a very reasonable price. Oh…….did I mention these things were going into my storage space already packed full? It was like putting a jig saw puzzle together getting all that in the remaining space. Well……..they did it. Always polite, always concerned about the furniture and always concerned about your home.
